We collect names, contact details, work roles, relevant project records and technical information about use of our website. Depending on the service, we may also collect psychometric assessment data, brief meeting notes and recordings. Psychometric assessments and recordings require your consent. If health or wellbeing information is relevant, we only process it where an appropriate legal condition applies. Voluntary contributions are explained separately below. If any wellbeing/health information is discussed, we handle it with extra care and only where a UK GDPR condition applies.

Client project records are normally kept for up to six years after our final contract with a client. Recordings are normally deleted within 12 months, and financial records are kept for six years plus the current tax year. Other information is retained only for as long as needed for its purpose. We review marketing contact details periodically and retain minimal information to respect opt-outs. Effectively anonymised learning may be retained indefinitely. Information that could still identify someone remains subject to our retention rules.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your information, receive certain information in a portable format, and object to processing. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it. To exercise your rights, contact connect@commonpathconnection.com. If you share a reflection, we collect your contribution, name, optional role, follow-up preference and any email address you provide. We may also keep relevant correspondence and brief conversation notes. We use this information for professional learning and developing our practice, relying on legitimate interests. General learning may inform our writing once individuals and organisations cannot reasonably be identified. Within Common Path Connection, only Andrew Pigott has access to contributions and associated contact details. Wix and Microsoft 365 process the information to provide our forms, email and storage services. Contributions are not shared with your employer or client organisations, except where disclosure is required by law. We seek separate approval before publishing your words, a specific account of your experience, or identifying information. Follow-up conversations are optional, and contributing does not add you to a marketing list. We review identifiable contributions and associated records 12 months after submission or the last related conversation, whichever is later. We then delete or effectively anonymise them unless a documented continuing purpose justifies longer retention. Please avoid including identifying details about other people, sensitive personal information or confidential organisational material. We use personal information to deliver and improve our services, arrange meetings, manage accounts, respond to enquiries and meet legal obligations. We may also use relevant information for professional learning, supervision and research, with appropriate safeguards. Our lawful bases depend on the activity and include contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation and consent. Marketing communications follow the applicable consent and opt-out rules. We use service providers such as Wix, Microsoft 365, accounting and payment services, and relevant assessment or survey platforms. Depending on the service or legal requirement, information may also be shared with client organisations, professional advisers, insurers, banks or regulators. The specific restrictions below apply to voluntary contributions. Some providers process information outside the UK.
